Farhad Soufi

My working method is rooted in everyday life. I am drawn to the details, the tension, and the atmosphere that exist just beyond the obvious. Inspired by raw, documentary photography, I use the camera to explore emotions, relationships, and spaces. It is not only about telling a story, but also about capturing the feeling of a specific moment. My work is a tribute to the small moments that often go unnoticed, with a focus on local, social, and (sub)cultural themes.

My connection to Groruddalen
I grew up at Trosterud and spent much of my childhood there. My projects have often taken Groruddalen and the circumstances I myself encounter as their starting point.
